No metal sensitivity
Patients with metal allergies are not suitable candidates for porcelain crowns (as these are porcelain fused to metal crowns, which have a metal core). For them, zirconia crowns can be a good alternative.
Good oral hygiene
Brushing your teeth with the correct technique (at least twice a day) along with the use of dental floss and mouthwash can contribute to having good oral health and a successful treatment.
Gum in good condition
In case the placement of the crown is part of the implant procedure, the implants will be inserted into the jawbone. Patients with gum diseases are not suitable candidates for implant placement as only a healthy gum will be able to correctly support an implant.
Proper bone density
Good bone density is essential for the placement of implants, as sufficient amount of bone is indispensable to effectively support the implant.
